How It Works
The AKK A4 works in three rapid stages:
1. Configure Your Session
Before play begins, set your parameters on the analyzer: game type, number of players, and reporting mode. Need to adjust player count mid-game? Use the volume buttons — no need to unlock the screen or navigate menus.
2. Scan the Barcode Edges
A connected scanning camera reads barcode markings printed on the edges of specially prepared cards. Detection takes approximately 0.5 seconds. The camera transmits card data instantly to the A4’s internal analysis engine.
3. Receive Your Results
Two layers of output:
- Card-by-card readout — as each card is dealt from the deck, the system reports its suit and value. You know every card on the table sequentially, from flop to river.
- Hand result — once all cards are read, the A4 identifies the winning hand (or top two hands, or all five positions, depending on your chosen mode) and whispers the result through your dedicated mini earpiece.
Total time from scan to result: under one second.

Players join or leave mid-session. On the A4, you adjust the player count using the physical volume buttons — discreet, immediate, no screen interaction required. The analysis engine recalculates hand probabilities for the new player count instantly.
Scanner-Agnostic Compatibility
The A4 is designed to work with any model of poker scanning camera — built-in phone cameras, external local cameras, and wireless concealed cameras. You pair the analyzer with the scanner setup that matches your playing environment. Not locked to a specific camera module.
Custom Game Programming
Don’t see your game listed? Provide the rules to our technicians, and they’ll code a dedicated analysis program for the A4. The analyzer supports custom game logic beyond the standard Omaha, Hold’em, and Blackjack presets.
